When using Paypal to pay a business for goods or services always send the money using the “Pay for Goods and Services” option. The receiver will have to pay a fee but as a consumer you will have more recourse through Paypal’s resolution center should you have a problem. Some companies will ask you to send money via the “Send Money to Friends and Family” option because they won’t have to pay a fee but if you choose this method your options will be limited if you have to contact Paypal to try to get your money back.
